Yes. Where possible we create products using only natural ingredients. Rutherford & Meyer Fruit Pastes and Fruit Pates are natural products which are wheat free, gluten free, dairy free and contain no added colours or preservatives.
Our fruit vinegars and Wafer crackers are also natural. Our fruit coulis range contains preservatives to extend the life of the product and to ensure the fruit maintains it’s high quality and flavour.

All of our products are produced in Wellington, New Zealand.
What is the difference between the Roman Wafers and the Gourmet Wafers?
The Roman Wafers are a large wafer approx. 90mm. The Gourmet Wafers are a bite-sized wafer approx. 45mm and available in a different flavour range which includes Natural, Three Cheese and Garlic & Olive Oil.
Why a large wafer cracker?
The wafers are extra large so they have the added advantage of being able to be used whole, or broken up into 4 bite sized pieces. They look great displayed on an antipasto platter with some whole with some already broken up ready to use.
Does the Toasted Fruit Muesli contain nuts?
No. Rutherford & Meyer muesli is nut-free and produced in a factory which does not handle nuts, as are all our products.
Why is there sediment at the bottom of my vinegar?
The vinegars have a high fruit content so that they really taste like the fruit they contain. The sediment is simply a natural by product from the fruit contained in the vinegar and collects once the vinegar has been sitting for a while. It is perfectly fine to use simply shake the bottle well just before use.
